"My mission as an educator is to awaken the bravery, confidence and individuality of every young person I encounter. So that whatever their endeavors may be, they have the tools necessary to access their most inner sense of self.
As a teaching artist, I am fully aware of the potential and opportunity for a positive influence and impact, which is why preparation, professionalism and a positive attitude come standard when I enter the room.
With a flexible lesson plan, specifically designed to cater to the needs and desires of the experience, I use the talents I was blessed with to inspire scholars to discover their own.
I believe that through the medium of performing arts - discipline, professionalism, compassion and respect for others can not only be practiced but most importantly instilled in the character of a young person. My hope is that scholars will leave our time together having learnt something new about live performance, about those around them and about themselves."
